Aloo Posto
Ingredients
Potato - two medium size
Poppy seeds - 3 tbsp
Panchpuran (mixed seeds) - 1/2 tsp
Hot Chilli (Pepper) - 1 (cut into small pieces)
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tsp
Water - 1 cup
Method
Heat oil in a pan (kadai), put panchpuran.
When panchpuran starts spluttering put potatoes and poopyseeds paste,
Turmeric powder and fry it for two minutes.
Add water, salt, chilli pieces and put a cover on the pan and allow
it to cook for 5 to 7
minutes.
Serve with rice and arhar daal.
