Coco - Matar Paneer
Ingredients
paneer - light fried.
peas - boiled.
tomato - 2 (big) - finely chopped.
onion - 2 (big) - chopped.
green chilli - 5
ginger
shredded coconut - 1/2 cup.
chilli powder - 3 tbsp
coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp.
garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp.
vegetable oil / ghee.
veg. oil is healthier than ghee. ghee will make it more tasty.
Method
Heat oil / ghee, fry the onions & green chillies until light
brown.
Add the shredded coconut. Fry until light brown.
Add all the powders & ginger. Fry for one or two minutes until
the whole thing is
well-coated.
Add the tomatoes & salt. Stir constantly until they mix well.
Add sufficient water until a thick gravy.
Add the pieces of fried paneer & the pre-boiled peas. Cook for
4/5 minutes, & your
coco-paneer - masala is ready. Try it. Wish you good luck.
