Spinach Kootu Recipe
Ingredients
urad dal
split green gram (moong dal)
spinach (palak)
Method
Soak 1/2 cup of Masoor Dal and Moong Dal each for 2 hours.
Boil it with salt and haldi.
Wash Spinach and cut into small pieces and boil it separately. Put
in dal.
Fry in 1 tbsp Oil, 2 tsp Urad Dal, 4 Red Chillies, 10 Pepper.
And grind with Coconut. Add this to the dal.
Season with Mustard Seeds, Urad Dal, and Curry Leaves.
It is yummy and can be eaten with rice and pappad.
